I love the work of David Fincher. Films like "Fight Club", "Benjamin Button" or "Seven" are brilliant masterpieces, modern classics. Yet, there's one film that surpasses them all: "Zodiac", Fincher's best but sadly most underrated movies. Not really a horror movie, more of a... I'd say horrifying true-crime-mystery-thriller that comes very close to perfection.

I can only talk in superlatives about it, so I make it short:
Cast - Excellent (Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr. ...)
Script - Perfectly written, perfectly paced
Dialogue - Terrific
Suspense - Breathtakingly gripping
Atmosphere - Dark and impressive
Music/score - Brilliant
Camera Work - Excellent
Editing - Excellent

Overall, 160 minutes of pure awesomeness. A stunning masterpiece.
