A supercheap and supercheesy Italo-croc-schlock, full of hilariously bad but highly enjoyable croc attack scenes and fun kills. The acting is of course lame, most of the dialogue is just horrid, the plot is dumb and the soundtrack is an impertinent rip-off of the Jaws-soundtrack, at least it's an entertaining time-killer.

Just about as 'good' as Part 1: the croc- and kill-scenes are all pretty fun, everything else (acting, dialogue, plot, soundtrack) is just crap.

Wow - you got to see these! My buddy Jeff Goodwin worked on the makeup crew with Gianetto de Rossi building the big beast. He also ended up marrying one of the assistant directors - Enzo G. Castellari's daughter! I ache to see these movies!
ReplyDeleteGerman and Austrian television used to show them regularly on holiday program. I clearly remember seeing Part 2 in the afternoon program sometime in the 90s on an Easter Monday :)
