A really good mystery-thriller from grandmaster Scorsese, but unfortunately no masterpiece.
Good things: brilliant cast, brilliant score, fantastic cinematography, wonderful colours, astonishing settings, amazingly dark atmosphere, highly intelligent script and cool dialogue.
Bad things: much too long, often pretty lengthy and boring, the plot is far too predictable.
