There are only a few really good Stephen King adaptations and this is one of them. Very true to the amazing novel, highly atmospheric and intense, scary and suspenseful with a brilliant score, top acting, excellent settings and a well-paced script.
Highlights are the make-up of Cujo (man, how fucked up that dog looks!) and the wonderful sunset/sunrise-moods throughout the second half.
"Cujo", a brilliant but still somewhat underrated shocker and definitely one of the most realistic horror movies ever made.
What a great acting job by Dee Wallace and the little boy! ( Along with Cujo of course!).
ReplyDeleteIt was very realistic and freightening! I watched this with my grandmother ( now deceased), and both of us LOVED it! They don't make movies like this anymore. Too bad.
