80s cheese at its best: a hilarious and quite entertaining little insects-go-apeshit-flick, produced by trash-god Roger Corman.

The first hour is way to slow and tedious. The story is stupid, it's packed with lame and untalented actors, the dialogue is mostly incredibly bad and the soundtrackis annoying. Gladly in the last half hour the movie totally gets going with loads of brilliant gore'n'violence, terrific effects, fabulous cockroach invasions and awesome-looking monster-mutations.

Nothing special, but at least it's watchable and it kills time.
