Super-gory and ultra-hilarious 16minute splatter-comedy short about an armada of christmas trees who wreak revenge on mankind.

Jason Eisener did a terrific job on directing and writing this wonderful little horror spoof, mainly because of the impressively negative tone, showing humans as gruesome and daft, and fir trees as poor and helpless creatures, but only until they finally turn the tables.

The gore is amazing, especially because of one awesome Fulci-esque eye-gouging scene and one of the most shocking head-crushes I've ever seen.

Furthermore, the camera work is very neat, the settings all look nice, the soundtrack is quite fitting and the acting is gorgeous.

The perfect film for horror fans, christmas haters and environmentalists :-)
