What to expect of a movie with such a goofy title and such a dumb cover? 

Right, nothing.

"My Mom's A Werewolf" is one of the stupider horror comedies from the 80s. 

A dumb film about a middle-class mother (mediocre performance from Susan Blakely) who gets bitten by a pet shop owner (a surprisingly lame John Saxon) and transforms into a werewolf (ugliest and most cheap-looking wolf mask I've seen since "Howling III" / worst wolf-to-man transformation I've ever seen).

Apart from a few decent jokes and dialogue lines, it's mostly completely unfunny and nearly every character in here is annoying as hell (except Diana Barrows as horror-obsessed teenager).

The script is weak, the plot sucks and I totally hated that they constantly show the were-mother wasting time on shaving and messing with her new-grown hair.
