The next Friday the 13th will be just awesome!
Yes! The creators behind the SLASH/ Filmfestival created a monthly film club for horror and b-movie freaks, called "KLUB KAPUTT". Every month they'll show a bunch of gruesome classics, all uncut, all on 35mm.
First event is on April the 13th @ FILMCASINO, Vienna
Be there and be square! :-)

KLUB KAPUTT proudly presents:
---JASON VS. FREDDY---
1AM - "FREDDY VS. JASON" (2003)
11 PM - "A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET" (1984)
9 PM - "FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE FINAL CHAPTER" (1984)

I truly wish I could be there - but even if it wasn't thousands of miles away I'm already engaged for the evening - but really - this is going to be amazing! So, in Vienna, will these be dubbed or subtitled?
ReplyDeleteI'm super-excited too, especially for finally seeing ANOES on the big screen.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know, they show the originals without dubbing or subtitles.
I am so jealous! Listen, if I can score a ticket to Vienna...LOL I wish. This sounds like a hellagood time and to be able to see Freddy on the big screen in the original Nightmare is freakin' awesome.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
ReplyDeleteI already saw F vs J at the theater back in 2003 - but I never experienced the 80s Fred and the 80s Jason on the big screen.
Oh man! Yeah - I'm thrilled then that you get to go to this - the energy from seeing these movies with an into-it audience is incredible! I saw all three in their initial runs - in fact I've seen every Ft13 and Elm Street movie on the big screen - except Nightmare 5 and the reboots.
ReplyDelete@Craig:
ReplyDeleteOh, lucky you. How I wish I would have grown up in the 80s...
All Ft13 films? Nearly all Elm Street films? Jealous... JEALOUS!! :)
