HOLY FUCK! I GOT 4 AWESOME AWARDS!

Last year in August, my dearest blog buddy Michele ("The Girl Who Loves Horror") gave me the LIEBSTER BLOG Award ("Liebster Blog" = German for 'Dearest Blog'), a chain-letter-like award. Once you receive it, you have to pass it on to other bloggers.

Now, almost a year later, the LIEBSTER BLOG Award is still around, but it has changed into an upgraded version - I call it LIEBSTER BLOG AWARD 2.0 - with rules and questions, a bit similar to the 7x7 Award.

You may ask: "So, what's this all about?"
Well, lucky me has received
FOUR(!!!) LIEBSTER BLOG 2.0 AWARDS!!! FUCKIN' AMAZING!!!

HUUUUGE THANKS to ALEX JOWSKI from "ALEX JOWSKI'S MOVIE REVIEWS",
and JENNY KRUEGER from "MEMOIRS OF A SCREAM QUEEN"

Let's have a look at the rules of this award:

1. Each person must post 11 things about themselves
2. Answer the 11 questions the person giving the award has set for you.
3. Create 11 questions for the people you will be giving the award to.
4. Choose 11 people to award and send them a link to your post.
5. Go to their page and tell them.
6. NO TAG BACKS
I have to cancel 1 & 3, simply because... well, I have 44(!!) questions to answer. That's a bit exhausting :)

ALEX' QUESTIONS

It might sound strange, but in some kinda way it gives me fulfillment.

The Spanish home-invasion shocker "Kidnapped".
3. What celebrity or artist have you have met who has inspired you the most in your life?
I've never met one of the artists that inspired me, but I once had the chance to talk 10-15 minutes to Colin Edwin, the incredible bass player of Porcupine Tree.
4. What is your favorite "bad" movie?
It's a tie between "Manos: The Hands Of Fate" and "Troll 2".
5. What is a movie that offends you - a movie you hate for moral reasons.
"The Woman"- a disgusting and inhuman piece of shit.
6. What are two of your favorite books that have NEVER been adapted into a movie.
"Filth" by Irvine Welsh & "Joey Blueglass" by Chris Wilson.
7. Whose opinion do you trust more in deciding if a movie is good or not? Critics in magazines/newspapers, fellow bloggers, or the general public?
I usually prefer the reviews by fellow bloggers and prolific Imdb reviewers.
8. Which game from your childhood do you wish you could play again?
Childhood = Game Boy Awesomeness!! Super Mario Land 1 & 2, Tetris 1 & 2, Tetris Attack, Wario Blast, Mario & Yoshi etc.

My real name is Harald, and obviously everyone's calling me Harry:-)

5. What's the weirdest experience you had involving a movie? (theatres, DVD releases, etc.)
"The Diving Bell And The Butterfly" and "The Descendants", the 2 only movies in my life that brought me to tears. It's a very weird, almost disturbing feeling to cry because of a movie.

    I loved Stuart Gordon's Re-Animator—one of my all-time favorites!

I’d have a really tough time answering this one: Tales From The Crypt, X-Files or Twlight Zone.

    1. Thank you, Susan! Calle me Harry. Or Maynard. The devil has many names ;-)

Oh yeah, Re-Animator is just awesome! Expect a long, updated review of the trilogy in the near future.

TZ and TFTC are both fine, but IMO nothing can beat X-Files. Oh Gilian Anderson, the love of my youth :)
