Wahoo! For the next 10 days or so, good ol' Maynard leaves the Internet and goes on a well-earned, well-deserved beach holiday (the crowd goes wild) - but don't worry, I have a few movie-pack reviews scheduled that will go online next week
(the crowd goes Boo!).
When I'm back, there's lots of cool stuff coming: a brandnew collabo with my buddy Craig from "Let's Get Out Of Here", fresh reviews about fresh stuff like "Insidious: Chapter 3" or the "Terminator" franchise, the yearly anniversary video (this time with questions from my buddy Alec from "Mondo Bizarro"), and I'm already preparing for the next /Slash Filmfestival in September. So far, 3 films have been confirmed: Sion Sono's "Tokyo Tribe", post-apocalyptic BMX flick "Turbo Kid" and killer-wasp rubbish "Stung".
One more thing: over the next months, I will focus on reviewing older films (50s to 90s). The reason for this is simple: so far, 2015 has been a really terrible year for the horror genre, and aside from screeners and festival flicks, I have little interest in checking out most of the new stuff that already came out. Of course, I won't stop checking out new films, but I will do far less than before. If you're ok with that, good. If not, hasta la vista ;)
