Train To Busan; A Movie Review
This movie has proven again the creativity and prowess of Koreans when it comes to movie making. Whereas they are popular with their Korean love stories, they have also showed a strong advantage on other movie genres.
Train to Busan is a 118 movie that was directed by Sang-ho Yeon. Among the cast that made it a success was Yoo Gong, Yu-Mi Jung, Dong-Seok Ma, and Su-An Kim. The main setting is the train that runs from Seoul to Busan where people have to survive the zombie apocalypse which started by a virus that is spreading uncontrollably. The movie was a superb mixture of horror, thriller, suspense, action, comedy, and tragedy that would bring your emotions on one roller coaster ride after another.
To be honest, the whole movie just put me on alert. There were so many twists and turns that you won’t really have any idea of what is coming next. It was like a climax that never ends. Even until the end, the emotions get so high that you’ll never know where it would really end.
The characters are not what they seem to be as well. Everybody was in cold-blood survival mode where nobody has any idea of who will be the hero, or the zero. It’s like every actor and actress complement each other. This made it such a blockbuster movie.
There is nothing more to say about the story line as well. It was well-written and entertaining. It was like living there and not merely watching. Every scene would make your heart skip a beat. Even the portrayal of zombies, the effects, and aesthetics, everything was perfect.
This is why, it is not anymore surprising that we are looking out for the part II. The movie is simply a product of brilliance that is hard ti miss.
